Originally from Visalia, California, the Escalantes relocated to Washington state where Michael embarked on his first military assignment. They began ministering together in a local church as executive assistants, in worship, college and career, men’s and women’s ministries, and as youth directors.
After their ordination in 2012, they were reassigned back to California due to military orders. They enjoyed serving their community with an outreach to military families and releasing a music project. They also served in a local church through worship, children’s, and small group ministries. In 2015, the Escalantes experienced their third military transfer to Virginia state.
Throughout their lifetime they have learned many lessons about marriage, servant leadership and team ministry. As a result this blog was created to share insights they’ve discover while leading and serving.
Their desire is to see congregations carry out their God-given purpose within their community, and thriving as productive individuals. They motivate people to live for Christ through their personal testimonies, biblical teaching, and leadership experience wherever the Lord leads them.
